How it works
A commission starts with a single conversation.
You describe the subject and send the photo(s) you are wanting to use— the animal, the detail that matters to you. I paint in oils, working on oil primed, linen canvas boards.
When you buy from me, I go over all of the details and pricing, answering all of your questions about the process. After a 50% deposit is received, I start on your painting.
The process takes time — typically three to four weeks.
A proof is emailed and up to two rounds of adjustments can be made before varnishing. No intermediary, direct correspondence from me.
